This week over at http://iheartfaces.blogspot.com/ it is 1st birthday week. Yeah for them! The theme of this week's contest is "Best Face Photo."

I took this photo of my daughter the other day. She is very happy because she got her braces off.

    Her smile reflects how she LOVES having those braces on! I remember that feeling oh so long ago. And I LOVE the texture of the hat! I have peeked at your blog before and I am now a follower. (Thanks for the comment on my first entry). I look forward to more of your beautiful photography!

This week the challenge over at iheartfaces is "dramatic black and white."  I choose this photo because I think it shows raw emotion between the dad and his son.  The dad looks strong, yet vunerable and I love the placement of the hands of the dad on the boy.
