Canvas On Demand Pro

Hi guys!  This post is for my photog friends out there.  I don't know if any of you are into canvas gallery wraps, but I love them!  I just wanted to share with you a site that I found for pro photographers.  https://www.canvasondemand.com/professional/pro-login.asp

All you need to do is sign up and they verify that you are a pro photographer and they give you an account and I got a FREE 16 X 20 gallery wrap from them.  I had to pay shipping (like $8.00), but who cares?

They are also having a sale until February 4th, so check it out.  I just ordered two 20 X 30 gallery wraps of these photos.  I am so excited to get them.  I know, I know, I am a nerd.

iheartfaces/Dramatic Black and White

This week the challenge over at iheartfaces is "dramatic black and white."  I choose this photo because I think it shows raw emotion between the dad and his son.  The dad looks strong, yet vunerable and I love the placement of the hands of the dad on the boy. Hope you like it!  Head on over to                                                                                          to check out the other entries! Teresa Hart Photography

iheartfaces// "Yellow" Photo Challenge

This weeks theme at iheartfaces is "yellow".  I think this photograph fits the theme perfectly.  This little girl was such a ham in front of the camera.  And look at that gorgeous blue eyes and contagious smile! Head on over to iheartfaces to check out the other entries! Teresa Hart Photography

Giving Back

I have been thinking for awhile now how I could use my photography and retouching skills to give back.  Back in September, I found an organization called NILMDS (Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep) and applied to be a digital retouch artist.   Today, I got a notice that I was approved.  I know the work will sometimes be difficult, but to help families in need will be worth the reward. For those of you who don't know about NILMDS, the organization provides professional photography services to families who have lost a child.  The mission statement for NILMDS is as follows " To introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with the free gift of professional portraiture.  We believe these images serve as an important step in the family's healing process by honoring their child's legacy." To learn more about NILMDS or if you know someone who could benefit from their services, please visit their site at http://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org/...
