Let it snow..or not

Yesterday the weather was so nice here!  I took the twins (and Piggy) out to play!  This is the look I get from my son when he is tired of me taking photos...

Here is Emerson and Piggy.  Piggy goes everywhere with us.  He even sits on the ledge of the bathtub and watches the twins take baths.

They spotted an airplane, which is very common since we live on an air base, but nevertheless, they still get very excited over the planes.

Have a good day everyone or night depending on where you are!  Even though the snow is nice...I secretly can't wait for Spring!  What about you?

iheartfaces/Dramatic Black and White

This week the challenge over at iheartfaces is "dramatic black and white."  I choose this photo because I think it shows raw emotion between the dad and his son.  The dad looks strong, yet vunerable and I love the placement of the hands of the dad on the boy. Hope you like it!  Head on over to                                                                                          to check out the other entries! Teresa Hart Photography

iheartfaces// "Yellow" Photo Challenge

This weeks theme at iheartfaces is "yellow".  I think this photograph fits the theme perfectly.  This little girl was such a ham in front of the camera.  And look at that gorgeous blue eyes and contagious smile! Head on over to iheartfaces to check out the other entries! Teresa Hart Photography

Giving Back

I have been thinking for awhile now how I could use my photography and retouching skills to give back.  Back in September, I found an organization called NILMDS (Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep) and applied to be a digital retouch artist.   Today, I got a notice that I was approved.  I know the work will sometimes be difficult, but to help families in need will be worth the reward. For those of you who don't know about NILMDS, the organization provides professional photography services to families who have lost a child.  The mission statement for NILMDS is as follows " To introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with the free gift of professional portraiture.  We believe these images serve as an important step in the family's healing process by honoring their child's legacy." To learn more about NILMDS or if you know someone who could benefit from their services, please visit their site at http://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org/...
