Before and afters

I really love to do before and after photos.  I really want clients and potential clients to see how much I put into edited the portraits I take for them.  It really take a lot of time.  The part where I actually take the portraits is probably the shortest part of the actual session.  If I logged all hours from a normal 1 hour session, I would add time traveling to and from the session, actually at the session, then editing, following up and answering questions, and placing the actual print order, that can easily come to about 7 or 8 hours.  Please understand the time and care that goes into crafting and perfecting your portraits. : )

iheartfaces// "Yellow" Photo Challenge

This weeks theme at iheartfaces is "yellow".  I think this photograph fits the theme perfectly.  This little girl was such a ham in front of the camera.  And look at that gorgeous blue eyes and contagious smile! Head on over to iheartfaces to check out the other entries! Teresa Hart Photography

iheartfaces/Dramatic Black and White

This week the challenge over at iheartfaces is "dramatic black and white."  I choose this photo because I think it shows raw emotion between the dad and his son.  The dad looks strong, yet vunerable and I love the placement of the hands of the dad on the boy. Hope you like it!  Head on over to                                                                                          to check out the other entries! Teresa Hart Photography
